Abstract
|
|
|
Endodermal sinus tumor, being one of the gonadal neoplasm, is rare and highly malignant.
It character istically develops in young patients.
The tumor is extremely virulent and the mortality is very high_ regardless of mode of treatment, including combined chemotherapy.
In this report, we present a patient with an endodermal sinus tumor of the ovary who under-went second-look operation following 12 cycles of VAC regimen with a brief review of literatures concerned.
